What a breath of fresh air! Property Managers need automation to streamline simple tasks to take their office global 24/7. The last company I worked still did everything by fax. Imagine the human time wasted copying 1000 pages per week using an inkjet printer.

Great article

Although I was only able to attend a few hours of Realcomm, I too share the opinion that this organization adds tremendous value and needs the support of all who are trying to make our industry more efficient and profitable by generating new ideas of doing things better. As someone who spent much of his career in property management, sometimes we need to be reminded that ultimately we only have one job – retain and attract tenants. Operations that can be outsourced to the best possible vendor allowing one to better focus on this one job should be our goal. It’s important to remember that innovation and experience mixed in with technology creates new outsourcing opportunities that had not been thought of before. Whether it’s a software program or a new way to manage repair and maintenance issues, embracing innovation not only can save money but can free us up so we can be successful in our “one job”.
